Thank you so much for your generous donation.  With your contribution,  Sew Much Comfort will continue to provide FREE adaptive (velcro closure) clothing and comfort accessories to support the unique needs of our injured service members from all branches of the Military and National Guard.

To date there have been more than 51,000 U.S. troops wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, with many still returning each week.  Our wounded are receiving world class medical care, but what has not been addressed is the specialized clothing needed to support their recovery process.  Sew Much Comfort has stepped in to fill this void by providing FREE adaptive clothing to replace the ill-fitting hospital gown. Our mission is to provide FREEof charge, warm comfortable adaptive clothing that utilizes velcro closures to fit properly over wounds, casts, fixator, prosthetics, etc..  Our clothing allows them to wear normal looking clothing that adequately covers their injuries which gives them visual respite from their wounds which leads to enhanced comfort and dignity.  Through our adaptive clothing, we want to let our brave wounded know that their sacrifice has not been forgotten, as the clothing is made from thousands of volunteers across the USA who want to send the message, "thank you for your service, and that your sacrifice has not been forgotten". Our volunteers continued dedication and effort producing our adaptive clothing has allowed us to provide over 115,000 pieces of adaptive clothing since we organized in November 2004.  Your donation enables us to provide garments, supplies, cover shipping expenses and support our Distribution center  – THANK YOU!!! Your donation is appreciated more than you will ever know.   Our goal is to ship 2000 pieces of adapted clothing per month to military hospitals and individual service members still in the recovery stage.

Here is a sample Letter from a grateful Military family:

“My husband just received his adaptive clothing a few weeks ago and felt so much more comfortable after receiving them because he could actually wear clothing that fit around his wound dressings.  Thank you so much for all you've done for us and continue to do for our wounded warriors who need adaptive clothing to make it through the tough times before their wounds are completely closed“.

Please know that ever donation is greatly appreciated and every dollar is carefully spent.  Our administrative/fundraising overhead is less than 5%.

You will be receiving a letter for your tax records. Sew Much Comfort is a national 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization, #75-31778122, and your donation is tax-exempt.  Thank you again for your generosity and thoughtfulness, you are helping us make a vital difference to our service members as they recover from their injuries.  We look forward to your continued support.

Thank you,

Most troops wounded in combat are surviving their injuries.   They fought our battles and as they recover in military hospitals, have nothing to wear but a hospital gown while they recover from their injuries.

That’s why this week-end, we’re reminding you about the sacrifice America’s service men and women have made, and why now, it’s our turn to help.

Please help our wounded by making a donation to Sew Much Comfort so we can continue our mission to provide FREE adaptive clothing for them. Your donation can help our wounded heroes recover much easier as our clothing provides improved comfort and dignity as they heal from their injuries.

A $10 donation will provide 1 pair of boxers and1 t-shirt.

A $25 donation will provide 2 pair of boxers, 1 athletic short and 1 t-shirt.

Let us never forget all that has been done for each of us as we walk in freedom.

As we observe Memorial Day join us in remembering and honoring all men and women, who have served selflessly so that we may all enjoy our freedom. To all service members and the families, we at Sew Much Comfort want you to know your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
