Oct 2 2006 - TSGT, Scott Rauscher Thank you for all that you do. Its wonderful women like you who help make our country and our way of life worth fighting for no matter what the mission. We salute you.
Oct 11 2005 - Major Jennifer M. Cradier Dear Sew Much Comfort,

On behalf of BG Gilman, I would like to thank you for your generosity. Thank you for the gifts of t-shirts, men's and woman's under garments, boxer shorts and nylon shorts for our recovering wounded warriors. These items will definitely make the life happier and better for the troops who have served our country so unselfishly. Your gift will allow those troops to replace some of what was lost when they were injured.

It's great to know that these heroes are appreciated by all while coping with their recovery. This will let them know that their hard work and diligence are truly appreciated and always in your prayers.

My personal thanks and appreciation to all those at "Sew Much Comfort" who have made this possible.

Jul 18 2006 - Susan Mitchell , Personnel Director The employees of Gila County in Globe, Arizona are pleased to present you with this donation. Some time ago, we learned of your organization and were impressed with the wonderful work that you do.  When it came time to select the recipients for our annual fund raiser, we chose Sew Much Comfort.

On June 30th, 2006, we held a cook-out on the front porch of the courthouse and sold hamburgers, tacos and Indian bread. We also raffled off baskets donated by our various departments. The event was a huge success!

On behalf of the employees of Gila County, I thank you and all your volunteers for the wonderful work you do to help our soldiers.
Jun 12 2006 - Carren Ziegenfuss My husband, Chuck was only able to wear hospital clothes for a number of weeks after he was wounded.  At one point I remember him saying that he wanted to wear "normal" clothes again.  Unfortunately, due to his wounds, he was unable to wear a "normal" shirt or pants.  Then along came Sew Much Comfort... clothes that Chuck could actually wear!!!  The clothes gave Chuck self-esteem and dignity.  Chuck had a number of other surgeries after his initial stay at Walter Reed and his suitcase always contained the clothes from Sew Much Comfort.  Aside from the clothes, Sew Much Comfort gave us friends that always be in our lives.  Thank you and God Bless you all!!!
Jun 7 2006 - Marlene Benrodt Dear Sew Much Comfort,

The Submarine Officers' Spouses' Association takes great pleasure in presenting Sew Much Comfort with the enclosed check. Our fund-raising this year has afforded us the opportunity to make this donation to your organization. We feel privileged to be able to support such a wonderful cause and hope this contribution will in some way help achieve your goals. Best wishes for continued success in all your endeavors.

Dec 17 2006 - Lt. Col. Richard Eaves Dear SewMuchComfort,

Thanks for the box of cloths, the pants with the Velcro legs are perfect for our soldiers who have broken legs with external fixators, and the boxer shorts were a big hit as well! Our wounded troops only stay a short time with us before flying them back home in cold drafty planes. Its nice to know that they will be flying with warm, comfortable cloths, thanks to you.

It's refreshing to see that the public still supports their military through cards, gifts and prayers.

Thanks for supporting our troops!
Jun 1 2006 - Chm. Sonja Limer After hearing about your efforts for our injured troops, our AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary has appropriated the enclosed check to aid in your project. As a military mom myself, and an officer in several veterans service organizations, I applaud your dedication to the well being of our armed forces men and women. Thank your entire group for all you are doing in service to our Veterans.
Apr 10 2006 - Chaplain Robert W. Leathers & Sgt. Elijah Mack III Dear Sew Much Comfort,

I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you for the generous clothing donation that you made recently to our hospital. The support that you provide to us and our patients shows the compassion and generosity of the American people.

Your gifts remind us of the support we have back home from the American people and that picks up the spirits of our soldiers and patients. Your gift contributes to the success of the 10th Combat Support Hospital. Enjoy your freedom and keep us in your prayers. God Bless.
Mar 23 2006 - Col. Donald Taylor I am the commander of the Air Force hospital in Balad, Iraq.  I just wanted you to know that your boxes arrived here today in great shape.  I wanted to personally thank you and all who helped provide the clothes for our patients.  They will proudly use them, even though I am going to have a hard time getting the Marines to wear pink and purple!  You and the rest of Sew Much Comfort are doing a great thing that is deeply appreciated by the patients and my staff who care for them.  We feel honored to be given a chance to serve them.
Thanks again for what you do!  We thank you.
Mar 14 2006 - Col. Thomas M. Rice USAF To Sew Much Comfort,

Thank you for helping our wounded troops. I was assigned to the 332nd Expeditionary Medical Group at Balad AB, Iraq in August 2005 to January 2006. Since our unit was a combat trauma hospital, we saw it all. We had many  congressional delegations, distinguished visitors, and entertainers visit us, but what you do makes more of a difference than all the efforts of those other people combined! May God continue to bless you and your work.
