Partnering with the General Federation of Women’s Clubs has been invaluable for us. With your help and support, SMC has made great strides to increase the support for the wounded. Thank you for your generosity, time and efforts, you are helping make a vital difference to our service members as they recover from their injuries.  We look forward to your continued support.  Thank You!!!

Sew Much Comfort provides FREE adaptive (velcro closures) clothing to support the unique needs of our Veterans from all branches of the Military and National Guard.  Many injuries require large fixators, prosthetics or casts that are too bulky to fit under ordinary clothing.  Without our adaptive clothing, wounded service members are limited to wearing hospital gowns during their recovery.  Sew Much Comfort adaptive clothing allows our injured to wear normal looking adaptive clothing which enhances their comfort and dignity during their recovery process.

Sew Much Comfort has provided 156,379 pieces of adaptive clothing over the past 13 years. We are truly blessed and greatly appreciate all our amazing volunteers that have helped us to "honor, remember and support" our wounded service members as they recover from their injuries and transition back into their communities. Everyone’s generosity is making a real difference for our wounded and for that we are forever grateful.

Sew Much Comfort continues to operate with low administrative overhead of 2%. That means 98% of every dollar donated is being spent providing FREE adaptive clothing to our wounded service members.

Sew Much Comfort is listed under “Public Issues Community Service Program”

NO SEWING NEEDED TO HELP!!! Best way to help SMC is by Monetary donations or gift cards (Target, Kohls, JCPenny, Walmart, Visa). Sew Much Comfort has secured fabulous pricing on garments and supplies.  This also allows us flexibility in purchasing decisions. Have fun, be creative and hold a fundraiser; know you are helping SMC provide comfort and dignity to our wounded service members as they recover from their injuries.
